TRANSFORMING LOW-GRADE WASTE HEAT INTO RESILIENT, REVOLUTIONARY ELECTRICITY

EthosGen Heat Sorption to Energy (HSE) system accepts any available waste heat source from commercial, industrial, defense and maritime process with temperatures from 90*C (190*F) to generate distributed and resilient electricity.

HSE can effectively utilize a variety of waste heat sources including exhaust, off-gases, steam and hot water from gas/diesel generators, natural gas/biogas (methane) engines, waste incinerators as well as chemical, food/dairy and pharmaceutical plants.

SUSTAINABLE AND RENEWABLE NEXT GENERATION CARBON-FREE ENERGY

HSE is zero emission solution to generate the most sustainable on-site and low-cost electricity and can be paired with geothermal, solar thermal and biomass heat sources to produce the most sustainable, scalable and low-cost onsite electricity generation for commercial and industrial customers.

SCALABLE, DISTRIBUTED AND RESILIENT ELECTRICITY

HSE is modular and scalable in 40kW modules, placed on-site and scaled to each unique waste heat application. The system can be scaled up to 1 MW for larger installations. The modular and scalable design provides for optimal heat to power utilization on thermal energy source produced 24/7 on-site direct energy generation (direct energy resource) and increases energy resiliency by not relying on traditional utility grid power.

HOW IT WORKS

EthosGen patent-pending Sorption-Expansion Energy process deploys novel advanced material absorption heat exchanger that transfers heat into working organic fluid at constant pressure. The fluid vaporizes and expands within an engine that drives a generator producing electricity. The fluid then condenses and is cycle through the closed-loop system.

MULTIPLE APPLICATIONS & LOCATIONS

HSE system has been tested and implemented for both land and sea, and applications range across a number of industries, including: maritime military and cargo vessels, power plants, waste and wastewater treatment facilities, geothermal installations, food and dairy processing plants, metal, cement and glass manufacturing, pulp/paper biomass, and many more.

MACHINE LEARNING AND SMART IOT

HSE integrates IoT enabled sensors (Internet of Things) and automation to provide for optimized electricity generation. The system deploys state of the art machine learning for real-time data collection allowing EthosGen H-PowerGen to generate electricity based on variable heat inputs.
